A huge apology

To everyone involved - but especially to Michelle, my fabulous partner who created the most awesome stuff with the pieces I sent her.

As some of you may know - One of the reasons I've been so quiet as of late is due to some massive emergency renovations we had to complete due to flooding. The renovations were completed about a week ago. I thought I would have plenty of time to work on my challenge pieces, and I put Michelle's box of handmade goodies in a 'safe' place. I've now been up all night looking for them, and have to admit defeat for the day. It is my hope that now that I've gone ahead and posted this, the box will magically appear in one of the many places I've already looked a dozen or so times.  The worst part of this is of course I have a bad habit of putting things in safe places, and after I lost my camera - I thought I had cured myself of that nasty little habit....

I'm still on the hunt, and once I find them - I hope I can create something spectacular that will do justice to her fabulous components!

Jennifer, I feel you on the putting things in a safe place...I did that with the jewelry store paperwork and wasn't able to have my ring inspected at the normal time, almost too late to the point my warranty would no longer be valid...it will show up...may not happen today - but it will :)

Thanks Michelle,

I've been feeling so bad about this - I'm going to rest, and maybe now it'll turn up that I'm not quite so stressed about the whole situation.

Take a few minutes, have a cup of coffee or tea (whichever is your thing). Sit and relax...I've been known to speak out loud and politely ask for help find what I've lost, and request that if someone/anyone knows where it is, to please put it someplace you can find it. I did that for my paperwork, lost car keys, etc.....and in most cases it works...not sure why or how...but it does..

Don't you hate it when that happens- you put something away, somewhere safe, somewhere that makes sense... and then you can't find it! How very frustrating.

Best of luck to you in finding your lost treasure and in your flood recovery.

Thank you all - I'm determined to find the package! We're slowly going through everything that was moved/packed up for the renos. It's got to be in one of these boxes.... I'll post as soon as I find it!

Sounds like you had plenty of other stuff to deal with. Life happens. Hope you are recovering okay from the flooding. I've put things in "safe places" like that! Hope you find your beads.
