Here's what I got:
Fiber - Silk Ribbon
- Silk Cording
- Fluffy Ribbon
- Waxed Linen in 2 colours
Strands - Czech Glass Coins
- Wood Tubes
- Wood Rondelles
Headpins - Lampwork Headpins from KelleysBeads
Pewter - Mamacita Beadworks
Ceramic - Charm pair, shards - Marsha Neal Studio
- Large pendant - Round Rabbit Extra
- Bird & Egg - Summer Studios
- Dotted Round, Connector - Gaea
I'll admit, the fibers stumped me for a bit, as I've never used any sort of fibers before really. They are so much fun to work with! I've now got quite a list on my must buy one day list ...which is far too long as it is. :-)
I've accented the pewter clasp above with nailpolish and metalFX - I wrote a bit about the process in an inspiration I did for beadFX. You can't really tell in the picture above, but I used wild lime metalFX to match the connector from Gaea. ...And the bird - Awesome!!!
My favourite earrings!!!
Ok, the leather was a huge struggle. Lol... My sewing skills are pretty pathetic. Snort. The bracelet looks great on, but most certainly will never be sold ;-)
I love using button closures for bracelets, and the handmade headpin really added a nice pop of colour.
I actually squealed in delight when I saw this pendant. I've long, long been admiring the beads and components @ round rabbit. This necklace is quite long - I used the entire length of the silk. It's just tied into a small bow at the back.
Thank you Lorelei again for being such an amazing partner, and of course a huge shout out to Lori for organizing this whole thing!

You had a great, lovely soup ingredients!! and the neckpieces I adore!
And your favourite earrings are my favourite too :-D
Very nicely done. I'm in love with the bird necklace. The colors are beautiful and I love what you did with the closure.
Very nice work, I adore the leather bracelet! :)
Wow - these pieces are fantastic! I absolutely adore those stick-style earrings, too. And all of the colors are just gorgeous. :)
Hi Jennifer!! First, I hope your birthday was fantastic this week!
I am happy that you were able to finish so many pieces with your soup I sent you!
I love that altered that dragonfly toggle- I wish I could get a better look at the finish! Each piece is so fun! Good job working with the fibers! I knew you would love it once you got going. I know that you'll probably work more with them in the future! The bracelet with the suede came out cute!
I can't wait for you to see my pieces today. Have fun hopping! And thanks for being a super partner! xoxo
I love them all, the first necklace is my favourite
I'm another partecipant from Italy, I'm trying to visit all of you.
this was really a great experience!
ciao ciao
In spite of being intimidated by the fiber components, you managed to overcome your fear and create some wonderful pieces. I used fiber (organza ribbon) for the first time in one of my bead soup pieces too.
I adore the colours of all your pieces. I especially like the first pair of earrings and the last necklace. Very pretty indeed :) x
What lovely pieces you made with a wonderful soup. I especially like the way you wrapped the pink earrings with hemp cord. Such a great and unusual touch. I am also pleased to meet you!!
I just love your favorite earrings too. What a great design. Great work!

WHat a great assemblage of designs. I'm really liking those square earrings.
I love the earrings that you created--very cool.
All the things you created are fantastic!!!
Never worked with fibers? I can't tell, everything turned out so beautifully!

Beautiful work! I love the soft pink and green carried throughout. My favorite piece is the bracelet with the button clasp!
With Lorelei as a partner, you were going to get awesome stuff (like Round Rabbit)! Aren't fibers the best? Everything you made is super cute - I love the bird necklace best. That is really cool that you altered the clasp. The square earrings look like little perfume bottles :) Excellent work!
Beautiful! What gorgeous colors and I love what you've done with the clasp! Those are the most awesome earrings too!
I love the colors and how you incorporated the fibers. The earrings are over the top gorgeous! They'll garner a lot of compliments. You made quite a beautiful selection - great job!
You got a lot of amazing pieces from your soup! The bird necklace is just darling. I do wish I could see the treatment you gave the metal a bit better. The earrings are so clever and I had to laugh about your leather adventure. I can't sew at all, so great job for going for it! I would love to do that. Everything is fabulous!
Love what you created with your soup. I love the first necklace and am coveting that pink bird. Great job!!!
You did a fantastic job with the soup Lorelei sent you. All of your designs are really very pretty. The last two are my favorites though. And. . .the bracelet that you say won't sell, I can totally see how wearable it is. Yay for all the awesomeness!!
What wonderful ingredients, and such a beautiful soup you put together! My favorite is the bird necklace, but I also love the bracelet with the button closure. Beautiful job!
Great pieces! I'd love to see a close-up of the alteration to the dragonfly clasp! It looks like you had a lot of fun with your soup and I'm glad that the fibers and leather were a bit of a challenge. that's what makes it fun, right?!
Amazing work! I'm with you on the fiber bit -- I love the look but it stumps me. You made some gorgeous pieces!
I hope you'll join me again in the summer!
Beautiful work! I love necklace with the pink bird focal! :)
I love the whimsical feel of these creations - great job!
Great designs! I love the mix you sent to Lorelei! I'm now a fan/follower! Suzette
wonderful! You had a great mix, and you can tell you had a great time working with it. I like your style!
wonderful work! love them
I'm fascinated by your second pair of earrings...those are really cool. And I am wanting the bird focal...just too cute!
You did a great job on all of the pieces...but I absolutly love all of the earrings...they are so sweet! Nice job!
So much materials to use for your designs, and it seems you're comfortable with everything what you've got! You really did a great job! My little favourite is the last necklace, because of my green-weakness..... ;0)
You had some really pretty things to work with and I love the designs you came up with! The earrings are awesome! They are my favorites!
You made so many pieces. They are all really wonderful. You got some great pieces and you did them all proud!
Lovely designs! You made the beads sing! :)
I love the variety of pieces you made with your bead soup, and how you incorporated the fabric. really lovely!
What a great variety of pieces you make from your ingredients. Your soup was a buffet!!
Just love the red one at the end! Great job making so many creations!! ~KM
I love the bird that is just so sweet. I love that design you made to put it on that is just lovely. Have a great day!
All so lovely! I just adore the bird necklace! The tuft of fiber is such a nice touch. Great job!
So hard to decide which piece of yours I like best - you totally rocked the beads Lorelei sent you. But that first necklace is darling - who would have thought to use the connector as a pendant/dangle? Beautiful, beautiful work! And hey, that leather bracelet turned out fine!
You did a wonderful job using your soup ingredients, I love the focal.
Cheers!
Lori D.
Beautiful pieces! My favorite is that first piece with the sweet clasp and the darling bird/flower focal. I've never been able to get fiber to work in my designs, but I love how you used it in this piece.
Beautiful pieces. I am tickled that you can laugh at yourself about the flops. I have those too and sometimes we can learn more from our flops than our successes. It is a cute bracelet in any event. Great job!
I sort of drooled over the color of your soup! All my faves!
All your pieces were really, really pretty, but I especially liked the first necklace. And you did a great job with adding the fiber to all of them. :)
Alesha
loved what you did with your soup....
Beautiful!! Adore that second pair of earrings - I can see why they are your favorites!!! :) So fun!! And that second bracelet - gorgeous!
Very nice pieces you received. Love the ceramic bird on your necklace. And really love how you incorporated fiber into your earrings. I will have to try that.
Well you caught on to using fibers fast. Great work
A gorgeous soup and stunning results - I love every piece! I'll have to check that metalFX article, sounds intriguing :)
Beautiful jewelry and interesting treatment for the toggle. I'm glad I got here a bit late so I got the close up:) I like your favorite earrings too!
Beautiful! I especially like bird necklace, and the clasp is beautiful.
I love everything! That first necklace is just so beautiful! And the earrings are both lovely. The second bracelet is fantastic! Love it!
Yes, definitely a squeal-worthy soup and the final designs are GORGEOUS! I love looking at them! Beautiful.
I love your designs. The necklace with that beautiful pendant and headpins is my favorite, really pretty.
